Ramesh Dharmaji is a seasoned banker with an extensive career spanning over 38 years, specializing in the promotion, development, and financing of MSMEs. Notably, he has served as the Founding Director of the SIDBI International MSME Training Institute and CEO of India SME Technology Services Ltd, an associate of SIDBI. His expertise extends to directorial roles on boards of various organizations, including MSMEs, infrastructure companies, microfinance institutions, state financial corporations, venture capital companies, technical consultancy organizations, and Sadhan a MFI SRO. After superannuation as CGM SIDBI in February 2019, he took on the role of Strategy Adviser to the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation and continued to advise SIDBI until May 2020. Currently, he serves as an Adviser to the Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME), an alliance dedicated to creating 10 million mass entrepreneurs, 50% of whom are women, by 2030. Additionally, Mr. Dharmaji contributes as a Financial Expert for the Technology Development Board and the Global Innovation and Technology Alliance, as well as an Advisor to a venture capital firm.
