Gaurav Tanna, currently working as a Chief Credit Officer at Godrej Capital, leads the Credit Underwriting and Policy function within the Risk domain. His career has spanned ICICI Bank and Citibank N.A. Before joining Godrej Capital, his last stint with Citibank was SME – India Retails Collections and Legal. He has played key roles in building and leading large underwriting teams and managing complex process reengineering projects. In addition, he has been instrumental in turning around the mortgage litigation, recovery and settlement process & portfolio at a leading MNC bank. Mr.Tanna has worked extensively in the retail banking domain on building capabilities – towards self-employed underwriting across sectors, managing collections strategy, and leading legal recovery – across multiple lending products such as Mortgages, Personal Loans, SMEs, etc. Mr.Tanna has an MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. He has over fifteen years of experience with a focus on underwriting, collection and portfolio management within the retail lending segment.
